Sri Thyagabrahma Sabha, Thanjavur is devoted to the promotion of Carnatic music and the classical arts, in the very region where the Trinity of Carnatic music — Saint Thyagaraja, Muthuswami Dikshitar and Syama Sastri — lived and composed.

Through the decades, the Sabha has served as a stage for legendary vidwans and promising young artistes alike, presenting vocal and instrumental concerts, Bharatanatyam recitals, harikatha and annual festivals for the rasikas of Thanjavur.

The Sabha remains grateful to its patrons, well-wishers and members — the pillars of strength who have sustained its activities year after year and made every festival and celebration possible.
